MAT Features Overview
Complete electronic patient charting available in the office and to any mobile MAT user granted access to a MAT tablet. MAT tablets only require internet access once a day for less than 5 minutes so that they can synchronize.
Patient referral information and schedules are entered in SAM and automatically appear in MAT.
Over 50 clinical documents for home care and hospice.
Your agency’s unique paper documentation can still be used and scanned to become part of the patient’s electronic chart.
For each patient there is quick access to creating a new document, listing and reviewing the patient’s filed documents, patient care profile, medication profile, and OASIS.
Integrated Lexi-Comp database provides real-time checking for high risk drugs and interactions. Medication teaching sheets are available in English and Spanish.
The document editor shows incomplete pages as yellow and the required fields on each page as yellow. When last required field on a page is completed the page is complete. When all the pages are complete, the document is complete and can be sent to the office.
The review scrubber must be run in order to complete a document. This document specific scrubber checks for inconsistencies over and above the rules dictated by OASIS regulations and alerts the user. Results of the review are written to the document so that the office has access to caregiver’s alerts.
Each document’s navigation panel allows the user to jump around to any place in the document with one click. This allows a head-to-toe assessment to be done and allows the caregiver to quickly document items that will naturally occur out of sequence during the patient’s actual assessment.
MAT’s “Flow Forward” feature allows unresolved problems, such as specific wounds, and their interventions to flow forward to subsequent documents. In this way, each caregiver sees the status of each problem and can document the problem until it is marked resolved. Demographics, Goals, and Meds also flow forward.
Discharge documents have access to a case synopsis report and review alerts which among other things, calls attention to any un-resolved problems or un-met goals.
