Drag and drop Scheduling system includes wizards for creating weeks and months of schedules. The scheduling system shows the compliance of doctor orders, insurance orders, as well as the compliance of employee requirements like annual course work or licensing. Employee assignment features will list the employees which best fit a visit based on their qualifications and price and then let you track their acceptance or refusal of the work.
Clinical features include patient management and census reporting, care plan and verbal order management and tracking, OASIS management and tracking, face-to-face visit date tracking, therapy reevaluation visit tracking, physician PECOS tracking, HHCAHPS file creation, and year-end reporting to feed your Medicare and Medicaid reporting requirements.
SAM specializes in handling mixed patient and client pools with Medicare, Medicare HMO, Medicaid, Insurance, and self-pay payers. Many payer specific features include Hospice billing, self-pay invoices that are combined with statements, and payer switches which allow custom features to be turned on and off by payer (i.e. – invoicing by employee, automatic invoice splitting at end of month, invoices held due to various missing clinical data, invoices held due to missing visits, etc.).
SAM has over one hundred ANSI 837 X12 Institutional and Professional electronic claim interfaces in both the 4010 and 5010 formats including processing of 835 electronic remittance files.
SAM interfaces to more than 20 different payroll systems including ADP and Paychex.
SAM’s accounts receivable system including invoice and claim creation (HCFA 1500 and UB04), aging, item and invoice level adjustments, collections and account log, and comprehensive revenue and cost reporting with the ability to specify your own accounting periods.
SAM’s open architecture SQL database with interfaces to telephony (CareWatch), PPS Analysis tools, and many other third party value added tools. If you have experience in SQL or report writers (like Crystal Reports) you can write your own custom reports.
